Castels, Palaces and Fortresses

The palace is located on a small square. It was built in the 15th century, on the site of the arsenal, on the southern, then peripheral part of the historic core. The southern facade is divided by monophores, while the eastern, representative facade is divided by biphores designed in the style of Venetian floral Gothic. The Arsan-Petris Palace is the oldest patrician house in Cres, and at the end of the works it housed the City Museum.

The static stability of the building is ensured by classic methods of installing zone-mono tension and by injecting with a special injection compound. In addition to the interior decoration of the palace, the reconstruction of the wooden ceilings and roof was carried out, as well as the restoration of the roof of the pile of ducts by dry installation in the tradition of the region. The stone plastic was also restored according to the original pieces and original condition.
