The project of complete renovation of the building of the Faculty of Medicine - Šalata 3 (Dean's building) will repair the earthquake damage, structurally strengthen the building and adapt the facility to modern conditions of use and safety, which will strengthen its resistance to earthquakes.
The primary goal of the entire renovation project is to restore the original look of the historic building, with minimal interventions to achieve better features of the building in terms of construction, energy and safety, and to increase the quality of stay for users. The renovation of the load-bearing structure of the building will be carried out in a minimally invasive manner, which will enable the intactness of all the preserved construction and craftsmanship elements and original features in the existing dimensions of the building.
The renovation of the facade foresees the uniform treatment of all facades and the restoration of all decorative elements, including locksmithing, the restoration and repair of elements of the entrance to the building, and the restoration of the approach staircase of the main entrance. For the needs of rehabilitation and renovation of the facade, restoration works are planned.
